フェニックスマウンテンパークへハイキングしに行く。わずか２時間の緩やかなコースをのんびり散策。所々にすっくり立っているサボテンは10Ｍ超あるものも。乾燥気候のアリゾナらしく緑の色が独特。砂がしゃりしゃりしていて白くてきめが細かい。砂埃を立てながら歩いていく。ここは姉夫婦もお薦めのハイキングスポットで上級者向けはかなりスリリングらしい。今の体力では自信がないけど、お楽しみはまた次回。
We went to Phoenix Mountain Park for a hike. The easy relaxing rout took about two hours and there were cactuses everywhere as you imagine, some of them were 10m tall. The green colour was very unique as the typical dry climate. The sands were very fine and white. I made sand dust when I walked. There are other route is designed for a serous hiker, which my sister recommends. It will be a next challenge!
